Melerski Family

The Melerski's are close friends of mine from Atlanta. They wanted a surprise photo shoot for their parents to finally have a family photo of their kids. We met in Greensboro while they were all visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday to take some shots. I've never had so many dogs in one photo together, I'm glad they at least smiled for the camera :)

The Carmichael Family, Russell turns 1!

Presenting, The Carmichael's. Russell, the adorable 1 year old loves to nibble on leaves! This little boy was so well behaved while we shot their fall family photos--all he needed was a leaf, and he was happy as a clam! Russell's facial expressions, giggles and pure adorableness kept me laughing the whole time!

The Fala Family

This family was so cute and happy to photograph.  We met at a park on a cool fall morning and got started by taking photos by the pond. Ollie is such a precious girl with the biggest bluest eyes I've ever seen! As soon as we got her rock chair out, she was ready to pose and show us her moves. The goal was a good family shot of the 3 of them. I'm so honored that I could give this family the family photos they have been wanting for so long!

Kam and Talana

Talana is a fellow teacher at my school and took the opportunity to have a photo session for her daughter, Kam. This little girl took a little while to warm up to the camera, but once she did, her hip was popping and her smile was out! We ventured over to the playground to get some candid shots of her playing. I have never seen a girl so excited to swing and so happy to go down on the slide! She was full of life and laughter, making it a great fall afternoon!

The Smith-Cherry Family

This was quite possibly the most fun I've had shooting photography! The family and I met at Tanglewood Park at "The pond." Little did each of us know that there were two ponds in this enourmous park and we each thought of a different one from the other! After several minutes we found each other and began our session. As you can see from the photos, they are a beautiful family full of love and joy.
It was Crystal and Ben's anniversary in a few days, so we took some shots of them to celebrate their special day. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much behind a camera! The two of them were working the camera with so many funny poses, I tried to capture them all!
